Create a new relationship to self, others and your life through mindfulness meditation.

We become what we think…….

Our mental habits create our set point for happiness. They are the product of our experiences and the way we respond to them. In modern life it is easy to become vigilant, guarded and ill at ease. Understanding and stepping back from our mental habits offers us freedom and choice in how we experience our lives and what we “become.”

My intention is to help you gain awareness and resilience with both practical tools and connecting to your deep inner wisdom through Mindfulness Meditation. Whether it is through a longer course or a drop in meditation class, I offer techniques from current neuroscience research as well as ancient wisdom with an emphasis on beauty and inner resources. In my offerings I am focused on nurturing the conditions for wisdom and compassion to unfold.

About Margaret

Hi, I’m Margaret

I first began practicing awareness through movement over 20 years ago. I practiced yoga and later became a teacher. About 18 years ago I began to practice mindfulness meditation through Buddhist meditation and went from there to include study and practice with MARC instructors (Mindful Awareness Research Center UCLA). I have also studied MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) with Dr. Christiane Wolf.

I completed the two year teacher training certification from UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center under the direction of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I am grateful for the wisdom and generosity of all the teachers I have encountered both for my own life’s navigation and in my role as teacher.
